Refund & Cancellation

1. Return & Exchange Policy

Because our sarees are authentic double-ikat silk pieces made by hand, each sale represents a final commitment of resource and time from our artisan families.

We do not accept returns or exchanges based on color preference, style variations, or minor handloom characteristics.

We highly encourage customers to schedule a high-definition video call or request specific photos of a saree before completing their purchase. We will show you the exact drape, pallav, and weave in natural daylight.

2. Exceptions (Damage or Incorrect Items)

We will accept returns or coordinate exchanges only in the following scenarios:

• Transit Damage: The wooden heritage box or saree arrived physically damaged.
• Incorrect Product: The item delivered differs from the product ordered.

To report an exception, please email us at majesticpatola@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery. You must include high-resolution photos of the package and the item.

3. Return Process

If your return request is approved:

• We will schedule a secure pickup at our expense using our insured shipping partner.
• The saree must be returned in its original, unused state, wrapped in its cotton muslin sleeve, inside the original wooden heritage box, with all certification tags intact.

4. Order Cancellation Policy

Readymade Sarees: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not already been dispatched. Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled.

Custom Commissions / Bridal Bespoke: Custom orders involve dedicated allocation of a loom and purchase of custom silk and dyes. Cancellations are only permitted within 48 hours of paying the booking deposit. Beyond 48 hours, the deposit is strictly non-refundable.

5. Refund Processing

Once a return is received and inspected at our Gujarat center, we will notify you of the status. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days.
